Risk Assessment |
The health and safety at work act is designed to protect the health and safety of people while they are at work and also to protect members of the public visiting the workplace. Employers must take reasonable care to protect employees and themselves from the risk of disease, injury or death. It is a legal requirement for employers to either display an approved Health & Safety poster or to supply employees with an equivalent leaflet. This needs to be updated as changes are made.
Occupational factors could put people at risk to illness or injury from the work they do. e.g. asthma from monomer fumes or dust from filing nails.
